Ultracool electric cars were just the ticket to lure employees to a grand-opening celebration for one of Markham’s newest businesses. Aviva Canada celebrated its new office at its location in downtown Markham as up to 1,800 employees got to enjoy popcorn, ice cream and the chance to take a test drive in one of a handful of brand new Tesla cars.
The Tesla Owners Club was also on hand to show off their half-dozen models and allow employees to sit in and admire the electric cars which have their trunk space where the engines would be in traditional automobiles.
