The York Small Business Enterprise Centre invites the community to two special showcases where local ambitious students from the Summer Company program will promote their businesses.

The York Small Business Enterprise Centre invites the community to two special showcases where local ambitious students from the Summer Company program will promote their businesses. 

Showcase 1 

When:  
Tuesday, July 16, 2024 
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

York Region facility, Ground floor

Showcase 2 

When:  
Wednesday, July 31, 2024 
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Upper Canada Mall, Level 1 Market Court near Market & Co.

The Summer Company program, administered annually by the York Small Business Enterprise Centre in partnership with the Government of Ontario, provides students aged 15 to 29 and returning to school full-time in September 2024 with training on business planning, finance and marketing. Students are also paired with an experienced mentor for one-on-one support and have the opportunity to receive a grant of up to $3,000 to help launch their business.
