Newmarket – York Regional Council received updates on roads, transit, water and wastewater infrastructure investments needed to provide accessible travel options, safe and reliable water and wastewater services, and support our growing communities.
“York Region continues to plan and invest in the future of our communities,” said York Region Chairman and CEO Wayne Emmerson. “Building and maintaining our road network, ensuring ease of travel and safeguarding our water and forests allows our communities to grow in an efficient way.”
York Region has 10-year capital plans to ensure infrastructure is in place and maintained for current needs and future growth.
