Patients waiting for an MRI or CT scan won’t have to wait any longer than necessary. Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket has combined with NextUp Care to introduce a new tech platform for doctors and patients to reduce wait times.
In its Diagnostic Imaging department, the hospital traditionally uses fax and phone calls to communicate between doctors and patients for their appointments. NextUp Care’s platform saves 80 per cent of the work involved with its algorithmic scheduling.
