New Clean Tech Manufacturing Facility Opens in Vaughan

Pliteq ExpandsDecember 17, 2018 – Vaughan, Ontario | Francesco Sorbara, Member of Parliament for Vaughan—Woodbridge, visited Pliteq Inc., a manufacturer of acoustic vibration and sound control products made with recycled rubber from used vehicle tires, to see first-hand the new 150,000-square-foot facility in Vaughan.

Pliteq ExpandsDecember 17, 2018 – Vaughan, Ontario | Francesco Sorbara, Member of Parliament for Vaughan—Woodbridge, visited Pliteq Inc., a manufacturer of acoustic vibration and sound control products made with recycled rubber from used vehicle tires, to see first-hand the new 150,000-square-foot facility in Vaughan.

FedDev Ontario contributed $3.8 million toward the expansion project, which allowed Pliteq Inc. to acquire advanced production equipment and adopt new manufacturing activities that boost productivity. Products are now manufactured in-house, instead of being outsourced to other countries. In addition, Pliteq Inc. created 62 skilled jobs.
