GM Canada’s Markham Tech Facility at Centre of Province’s $56.4M Plan to Drive Deals for Hybrid, Electric Vehicles

As one of Canada’s top technology hubs, Markham continues to be at the forefront of driving innovation.

GM Canada’s Canadian Technical Centre (CTC) in Markham was the site of a recent announcement regarding the province’s latest commitment to putting Ontario at the forefront of global demand for cleaner, safer, more sustainable transportation solutions.

Delivered in partnership with the Ontario Centre for Innovation (OCI), the government’s $56.4-million investment in the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) was announced by Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, Vic Fedeli Dec. 2.
