RICHMOND HILL, ON – Mackenzie Health awarded a contract to Compugen for Managed ICAT* Services (MIS) at the future Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital. As a result, Compugen will be working with Mackenzie Health to provide and support an integrated technology platform to help build and implement its smart hospital vision. The partnership will also help create a number of new jobs to benefit the local community.
Under the smart hospital vision, Mackenzie Health plans to build a secured medical grade wired and wireless electronic platform. The smart system will include unified communications (audio/video) between providers and patients and access to patient portals, community provider portals and home health tools such as integrated private and secure patient electronic records. Compugen will provide infrastructure and services for the devices, network, security and technology management of the new hospital.
