World Trade Centre Toronto is bringing Canada’s Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) to the York Region for the first time!
Established in 2015, TAP is an award-winning program designed to help SMEs overcome export barriers and reach new markets faster through a series of in-depth workshop sessions with leading trade and industry experts.
The program will take place 4 days over a 6-week period. Dates are as follows:
March 30 & 31 – Two-day workshops & presentations
April 6 – Export Plan Day
May 20 – Mentoring Day
The registration cost per company is typically $5,000, however, thanks to generous support from RBC & Export Development Canada, the program fee has been reduced to $495!
A few notable stats from the over 800 graduate companies since the program’s inception:
- There is a 42% average growth in export revenue one year after participation;
- 3 years after graduation, companies experience a 180% average increase in revenue, and a 280% average increase in export revenue;
- 37% of companies secured additional financing since graduation, with an average of $1.8 million in additional financing received per company;
