The Aurora Armoury has won a global award for its Canadian Food and Wine Institute, the town announced.
The LIV Hospitality Design Awards honour recognized the institute as the winner in the architectural design event category, which celebrates “quality architectural ventures and interior design hospitality worldwide.”
“It was so exciting to bring prominence to a building that, for over 40 years, was an inaccessible backdrop for the Town Park,” Jim Burkitt, design director at Gow Hastings Architects, said.
