Southlake Regional Health Centre’s program for heart health — the regional cardiac care program — has completely redeveloped its cath or catheterization labs. It makes heart, blood, and cardiac procedures state-of-the-art and reduces the time patients wait for operations.
The upgrades took nine months to complete and fit the budget. Southlake now boasts three cath labs capable of looking at your blood, heart, and veins through an X-ray (diagnostic angiograms), repairing a damaged blood vessel (angioplasty), and other important heart procedures.
