There’s no such thing as a business park where opportunities sell themselves — but the 500-acre Keswick Business Park in the Town of Georgina comes pretty close. Nestled along the south shore of Lake Simcoe, Georgina is located about an hour north of Toronto and the new business park offers one of the most extensive footprints for business development in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Why should businesses commit now? Even as available employment lands are being snapped up, the area is set for explosive growth. Georgina, with a population of approximately 49,000 residents, offers the advantage of having a small town feel but is expected to grow by more than two thirds by 2051. With the future extension of Highway 404 and the approval of the nearby Bradford Bypass connecting Highway 404 to Highway 400, enhanced transportation networks will create additional value for those who stake an early claim.
“The Town is currently working with a number of developers to expedite their development approvals and bring additional lands to market,” says Karyn Stone, manager of economic development and tourism with the Town of Georgina.
