Support Black-owned businesses in York Region on October 25 

Join us at Upper Canada Mall at the one-day business expo and marketplace showcasing over 20 Black-owned small businesses in York Region!

The York Small Business Enterprise Centre is partnering with the Federation of African Canadian Economics (FACE) Coalition  to host Innovate. Network. Thrive: Celebrating Black Entrepreneurs in York Region

This free, one-day business exposition and marketplace is open to the public and will showcase Black-owned small businesses in York Region, ranging from food, art, health and wellness and more! 

Event details: 

Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025  

Time: 10 to 6 p.m. 

Location: Upper Canada Mall, 17600 Yonge Street, Newmarket 
Centre Court (near Dollarama) and Davis Court (near Laura) 

What else can you expect? 

  • Over 20 local vendors showcasing unique products and services
  • Live performances throughout the day 
  • Raffle prizes and giveaways happening throughout the day 
  • Opportunities to network, shop and support Black entrepreneurs

Representatives from the York Small Business Enterprise Centre and FACE Coalition will be present to answer questions about the program and other services available to local business owners and entrepreneurs.
