Markham CentreResidents participated recently in a unique opportunity to learn about community planning and economic development. Markham Centre is one of York Region’s four urban centres where growth is being directed. To see city building taking place right before your eyes, Paul Freeman York Region’s Chief Planner is hosting a series of walking tours.  Over the past few weeks, walking tours were held in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and Markham Centre.
