October 20 to 26 is Small Business Week and we’re recognizing the hard work, dedication and passion of business owners and entrepreneurs. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy – in York Region, 97 per cent of businesses are classified as small (meaning they have 1 to 99 employees). We’re committed to supporting these businesses and helping them grow. One of the ways we do this is through the York Small Business Enterprise Centre (YSBEC).
