More than 70 members of the Business Council of Canada joined General Motors at the automaker’s new Canadian Technical Centre – Markham Campus, where GM is working to develop new autonomous vehicle software and controls, active safety and vehicle dynamics systems, infotainment features, and connected vehicle technologies.
GM Canada is following through on the promises it made in June of last year to increase its ecosystem of Canadian engineering. The Markham Campus brings a new focus on advanced mobility innovation to Markham’s ever-expanding technology cluster of roughly 4400 ICT firms, which represents the largest such concentration in Canada.
