Aurora Teens Want to Get Girls Into Technology

When Grade 12 student Maya Bishop and her younger sister Amanda hear people say girls shouldn’t go into technology fields, they get angry, and motivated. “If someone tells me I can’t do something, I want to prove them wrong,” said Maya, who aspires to be a computer engineer.

The two Aurora High School students want to learn more, and help girls learn more about the technology field. “It is not a job just for guys, it is a job for everyone,” said Maya.
